Drawing is the most underestimated tool we have. For learning. For focus. For feeling better.
Creativity isn't a luxury. It’s a practice anyone can learn.
How I Can Support You
Ongoingly Create is a creative consulting and coaching practice built around one core belief: that calm, creativity, confidence, and connection are available to anyone — with the right conditions and the right guide. I work with organizations, educators, and individual learners to design and deliver creative experiences that actually fit the people in the room. Sometimes that means a take-home drawing activity for an after-school program. Sometimes it means a full professional development course for teachers. Sometimes it means sitting with one kid and a sketchbook and figuring out what they need today. The method adapts. The intention doesn't.
The research keeps catching up to what thirty years in classrooms already showed me: drawing is one of the most powerful tools we have for building the hand-to-brain connections that support literacy, executive functioning, and the capacity to focus and persist — and it happens to be something children love.

Karen Minette Weinstein
Art Educator • Curriculum Designer • Creative Consultant
I'm Karen Minette Weinstein — arts educator, curriculum designer, and creator of the Creative Flow Method. For over thirty years I've been helping children, teens, and the adults who work with them find calm, creativity, confidence, and connection through the simple, powerful act of drawing together. My particular strength is translation: taking what a community needs and turning it into a structured creative experience that any caring adult can facilitate. I work with schools, nonprofits, counseling-adjacent programs, homeschool families, and individual learners — in Connecticut and virtually.
